surrogate spotlight: kim's journey
I am very strong in my faith and believe God had put it in my heart to become a surrogate. I began my surrogacy journey in 2013, a year after my son was born. I spoke with a few different Intended Parents before being matched with “M & A” and they were well worth the wait.
Family Source Consultants played a huge role in the matching process. They understood, without judgment that I may be hard to match, but stuck through it very patiently until “M & A” came along.
Throughout the process, my family and I grew closer and closer with the Intended Parents.
They came to visit us a few times and we went to visit them a couple of times.
Since the delivery in December, we have kept in touch on a daily basis and I receive daily photos.
The overall experience was amazing; something I’ll always remember. A big thanks to FSC for all their hard work. I went into my journey expecting to carry a child for Intended Parents who could not and I came out of the journey with new friends and a baby that will know me as “Auntie Kimmie”.
