Meet Angelica!

FSC is such a great agency! They’re very friendly and always there for your questions and needs.”

Q: What led you to become a Surrogate?

The joy of being pregnant and wanting to give a family all the wonders of parenthood.

Q. Who was your greatest support person throughout your journey?

My parents, kids, and siblings.

Q. What made you decide to choose your Intended Parents?

Their profile, when we met at our match meeting, I just knew, I guess you could say the “vibe” I felt when introducing ourselves and their longing of wanting to be parents!

Q. Do you have advice for women who are interested in becoming a gestational surrogate?

Go for it!! But only if you truly love being pregnant and giving back to others. Surrogacy is one of the most rewarding and fulfilling things you can do, seeing the IPs faces when they see their baby for the first time is PRICELESS!

Q. What did you find was the biggest misconception people had about surrogacy?

That the baby is biologically yours.

Q. What did you do to prepare yourself for separating from the baby after it was born?

Lots of self-talk. I think by being open and honest with everyone during my pregnancy that the baby was not biologically mine, I am a gestational surrogate. Most people assume it is your child you are carrying. I feel that if I would allow people to think or believe that, then it would somehow affect me.
