sharing our story: gary & susan, parents via egg donation & surrogacyAter several years of trying to have children both naturally and through ivf and not having any success, we decided that going with FSC and a surrogate/egg donor was our best option.  Our fertility center was partners with a donor egg bank so we were able to select eggs from there and FSC provided us with a wonderful surrogate.  With both good quality eggs and a great surrogate we felt that if it did not work under these circumstances, we knew that we left nothing on the table and had the best possible chance for success.

The hardest part of our journey was the period of time from the transfer date until the official pregnancy test.  That was a real nail biter!

The best part of our journey was getting that positive pregnancy test and all the subsequent appointments that revealed the fantastic progress the fetuses were making as they developed.  We also enjoyed corresponding with our surrogate over facebook, receiving updates.  She was as enthusiastic about the outcomes as we were!
