Often times surrogates are asked “What do your kids think?” or “How do your kids feel about this?”, the person asking anticipating a negative reaction but to the contrary. Children of gestational carriers are proud and embrace the journey just as their parents do; after all our children model our feelings and behaviors. They build relationships with the soon-to-be parent just as the GS does and look forward to the day little baby comes and makes them a family too…..just like their own.
