Meet V!
“Everyone at FSC is wonderful! Each person that I’ve worked with has been thoughtful and always goes above and beyond every time. I’ve had the pleasure of working with Nicole for a few donations, and she always treats me like a good friend, checks in with me, and makes sure I have everything I need. I would recommend her and anyone else at FSC to all my friends and family interested.”
Q. What led you to become an Egg Donor?
I decided to become an egg donor after a friend of mine donated her eggs. She described it as such a rewarding process and even still kept in contact with the parents. After I completed my first donation with FSC, I knew that it was something I wanted to be a part of.
Q. Who was your largest support person(s) throughout your journey?
My husband has been my biggest and best support throughout the donation journey. We’ve decided not to have children, but absolutely love being able to help other couples or individuals start their families.
Q. What made you decide to be closed/semi-open/open with your Intended Parents?
The decision of being closed/semi-open/open, I decided to leave to the Intended Parents. It was my feeling that it should be whatever they feel most comfortable with because of how personal and intimate of a process the IVF is.
Q. Do you have advice for women who are interested in becoming an Egg Donor?
My advice would be to have patience, because it is a very involved process. Keep an open mind, because each donation is its own unique journey. And make sure to have people around you who support and love you.
