Meet K!
“I love Family Source Consultants and feel very safe being an egg donor with this agency. My case manager was absolutely amazing. She was always there for me and helped me so much to get through the egg donation journey.”
Q. What led you to become an Egg Donor?
I was a nanny for a family and the children I took care of came from an egg donor. The mother told me about her fertility issues and her story stayed in a special place in my heart. After having my own child, I decided to donate to help others who want a child.
Q. Who offered the most support throughout your journey?
My mom was a big support throughout my journey because she always made me feel optimistic about making this choice and helping me through my recovery.
Q. What made you decide to be closed/semi-open/open with your intended parents?
I am open to being what the intended family feels comfortable with. I know everyone has their own journey and wants. I am just happy I am able to make people happy after going through a long process.
Q. Do you have any advice for women who are interested in becoming an Egg Donor?
The journey to helping a family may seem long but it’s so worth it! Knowing you can give someone such a precious gift having a child is the best feeling in the world.
