Meet H!

“I had the best experience working with FSC. I couldn’t have asked for a better care coordinator who was so helpful and accessible especially when I needed her the most. She really went above and beyond during my donation cycle.”

Q. What led you to become an Egg Donor?

I worked in OBGYN and Perinatalogy for 5 years and helped all women who experienced every miscarriage, fetal demise, failed IVF, and several abnormality in the pregnancy. I was moved to go a step further than your basic doctor visit. I wanted to do more to contribute to women’s productive health and felt that this is the best way that I can.

Q. Who offered the most support throughout your journey?

My mother-in-law. She was able to check in on me two, sometimes three times a day.

Q. What made you decide to be closed/semi-open/open with your intended parents?

I opted for a closed donation purely for my own sanity. I know and have seen too much about what can happen during pregnancies and it would stress me out having access to the pregnancy.

Q. Do you have any advice for women who are interested in becoming an Egg Donor?

The satisfaction of helping other families grow is much greater than the steps you take to get there. Also, eat the cupcake.
