Why did you decide to become an Egg Donor?

3 1/2 years ago my husband and I decided that we were done having children. We have 5 beautiful babies and they are such a blessing. I could not imagine life without them. I knew egg donation was something I wanted to do from the moment my husband and I discussed it. Being a mother is the most amazing experience and I want to help intended parents start their own family.

My husband has been amazing through this journey. He has been by my side during this whole process. My egg donation coordinator Claire has also been a huge support system for me. Any questions or concerns I have had she has been right there to answer them.

Why did you decide on open, semi-open or anonymous donation?

When I went into the egg donation process I was open to all three options. I wanted to give the final say to the recipient parents.

Do you have any advice for woman who want to become an egg donor?
