Meet D!
“I think that Family Source Consultants makes the process as easy as possible for egg donors. They know it is a time and energy commitment and they definitely make it as smooth of a process as possible. I would recommend them to anyone who was curious about egg donation.”
Q. What led you to become an Egg Donor?
I have a friend that was an egg donor and she always talked about how wonderful she felt after giving someone the gift of children. I knew that I wanted to be able to help someone in that process as well.
Q. Who was your largest support person(s) throughout your journey?
My husband was wonderful during the egg donation process. He really encouraged me and supported me the whole way through.
Q. What made you decide to be closed/semi-open/open with your Intended Parents?
I just thought that being anonymous would be easier for the intended parents. I think that that is their child and that really has nothing to do with me after the retrieval.
Q. Do you have advice for women who are interested in becoming an Egg Donor?
Do your research, but also talk to someone who has done it. They will be able to give you more valuable information than someone on the internet.
