Meet H!

“I am fond of this agency with their willingness to openly hear about the concerns of Egg Donors, and their effort to help with the needs of the Egg Donors. After my first cycle, I was excited for the next journey I would have with the agency.”

Q. What led you to become an Egg Donor?

Being an IVF Coordinator helped me to decide on becoming an Egg Donor.

Q. Who was your largest support person(s) throughout your journey?

My Co-worker and my best friend.

Q. What made you decide to be closed/semi-open/open with your Intended Parents?

I wanted to be either closed or semi-open, as I want the Recipients to really feel that it is their own, completely. However, I have left the semi-open option as if Recipients really wanted to update me on the child, I am willing to receive the information.

Q. Do you have advice for women who are interested in becoming an Egg Donor?

This is a very rewarding experience, but does take a lot of responsibility and commitment. I think making sure to have a good understanding of what to expect will be important for the Egg Donors.
