I originally became a Surrogate to help a family by helping mine at the same time. My husband is a disabled veteran and made the ultimate sacrifice serving our country. Therefore, I knew I had to sacrifice to help him go back to school.

In the past I thought about surrogacy to help my sister-in-law, but it was before we had our own children.  At that time, my husband wasn’t supportive. I was searching the internet for jobs and came across surrogacy. I knew that I had no complications with my pregnancies so it felt like the perfect solution. I presented the idea and my husband was completely on board!

It took about a year to get matched for my first journey. While it wasn’t horrible I was left feeling somewhat empty and was searching to fill the void. I decided to start a second journey.  I was then matched with the best couple. It was fate! We moved very quickly through the start process and were blessed that our transfer was successful. I definitely am not an easy pregnant person. I tend to have horrible morning sickness. This journey was no different, but in the end, it was worth every moment. I not only delivered a healthy girl but I gained some extra family during this process.
